
Circolo Amici della Magia di Torino is proud to announce the 8th Magic Convention in Saint-Vincent which will be held in Val d'Aosta (Northern Italy) from 15 to 18 May 2008 in the prestigious Casino de la Vallée.
In 1973 the Convention of Saint-Vincent had Alberto Sitta as Guest of Honour; Richard Ross in 1975; Fred Kaps in 1978; Tony Slydini in 1981; Frank Garcia in 1984; in 1989 an exceptional trio: Harry Lorayne, Juan Tamariz and Channing Pollock; the Convention closed in 1993 with Max Maven.
After 15 years this appointment with great magic returns. The artistic direction is in the capable hands of Arturo Brachetti. Nobody else in the world could guarantee to the Magic Convention a better success: his culture, his experience and his determination will offer a cast of performers absolutely exceptional and a show directed superbly.
Master of Ceremonies for the Convention will be Raul Cremona.
The president of the convention is Walter Rolfo. The President of the Circolo Amici della Magia di Torino is Marco Aimone. The president of the contest jury will be Domenico Dante. The press and media relationship officer is Edoardo Pecar.
The guest artists to the convention are: David Berglas, Marco Berry, Thomas Blackthorne, Davide Costi, Dan Garrett, Lennart Green, Men in coats, Pit Hartling, Kevin James, Fred Razon, Francesco Scimemi, Gaetano Triggiano, Piero Ustignani and Michael Vincent.
Italy's Silvan will be special guest of honour. Also as guests of honour will attend Tony Binarelli and Alexander.
Magicians and "muggles" will spend the days of the Convention as if they were in Hogwarts, ready to be surprised and amazed at every moment. Meals at the Grand Hotel Billia and in the Brasserie will be made even more memorable thanks to close-up performances.
